HAPPY HOLIDAYS

Happy Holidays!

The Holidays are here! While celebrating with friends and family, we must set up our pets to be safe and healthy. A little preparation goes a long way in ensuring our beloved companions remain healthy and happy. Most of our pets will eat almost anything they can find, with little regard for the dangers of the food.

AVMA and ASPCA offer helpful tips to keep your pets safe and help you and your beloved companion enjoy the holidays with less stress. If you are hosting a holiday event, you can minimize stress for you and your beloved fur baby by providing them with a nice warm blanket in a room away from the noise and food. Your home is their home and if they get stressed, they can exit through an open door or express their anxiety and fear with aggression.

It is more important than ever to keep your pets safe from dangerous foods and objects. Emergency care may not be available due to the limited operating hours of veterinary clinics during the holidays.

Wishing you and your pet a happy and healthy season.
